How to Back Up Favorites To DVD with Handy Backup

To backup Internet Explorer Favorites to DVD:
Launch Handy Backup on your computer and begin creating a new backup task. Click File >New Task to start the Wizard. There are some instances where you need to follow our recommendations, if you want to create the task for Favorites backup to DVD.
When the Wizard asks you to select the files to backup, click Add, and select Favorites.
You are free to schedule your task for any moment in future and repeat Favorites backup with any periodicity. However, it is recommended to backup Favorites at least weekly.
You may want all your files to be saved on DVD at every backup (Full backup), or you may want to save only the files that were be added after the previous backup (Incremental backup). The second way looks more attractive as the volume of backup is smaller, and the speed is therefore quicker. When the Wizard asks you where to import the data, don’t forget to select DVD for the data storage.

The only difference with transferring Internet Explorer Favorites is that you need to add a special plug-in to Handy Backup before creating a new task. This plug-in will help you to backup not only Firefox favorites, but other data, like passwords, settings, profiles, and others.
In Handy Backup menu, go to File >Settings. Then select Plug-ins, and click Add. In the opened tree, go to Browsers >Mozilla Firefox. Click OK.
Then create a new backup task (see above). Only at the step where the Wizard asks you to select the files to backup, click Add, and select Firefox.
Before the Favorites backup starts, insert a disk into your DVD-rom, and your Favorites will be transferred to the disk in the scheduled time.
